You wanted to make changes to the many objects that were locked on the page, so you clicked on one locked object, clicked on the lock symbol, and clicked unlock. Then you went on to the next object you wanted to unlock and did the same, and then to the next, and so on. The reason for having to unlock each individually is because Notebook will not allow you to marquee select locked objects. However, when you want to unlock several objects at once, you can simply click on “edit” in the menu bar, then click “select all locked notes”. Then you just click on the lock icon (the drop down handle of any selected object that has a little lock on it instead of a black triangle) and select unlock, or hit the Ctrl key and the K key on your keyboard simultaneously. Such a time saver!</p>
